This will be a quick post, since I’m on my way out the door. I mentioned in the last Status Sunday that I somehow acquired a social life and I’ve been spending more time than expected with it. I literally dragged myself in the door at 1AM today and crawled to my futon to drop my bag, wondering when the last time I’d been out that late was.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m having fun, but all of this social stuff is really cutting into my sitting around time.
It’s also cutting into my writing time. I still haven’t finished that short story I mentioned in the last entry, and it’s due in less than a week if I want to meet the call for submission. So, I cancelled all of my social plans for this week. Except for going out to lunch with a friend on Wednesday. And seeing my mom’s play on Friday night. And going out today.
Well, close enough.
